The hydraulically operated Tonisco PS2000 pipe cutter device has been developed mainly to accomplish accurate big diameter pipe cutting on-site. The pipe which is going to be cut does not necessarily need to empty in advance – the cutter is capable of cutting a pipe full of liquid or gas – in fact the cutting is possible even under water. The hydraulics of Tonisco PS2000 offers high torque, therefore the cutting speed of the cutting blade is low. With the right setup, no sparks occur while cutting the pipelines of various materials. Pipes holding flammable fluids or gases can be cut and the low rpm means long lasting cutting blades.
